Top Ten Books I Wish I Could Read Again For The First Time

I'm participating in the Top Ten Tuesday meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week you will find the top ten books that I wish I could read again, for the first time. I fear that a lot of these are going to be popular around the blogs.
What did you pick?

The Hunger Games: I'd love to experience this again - without the hype. I think I had a lot of expectations when initially reading this book and it was mostly because of the hype.

Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale : I just love faerie books and this was my first proper introduction.

The Iron King : The Iron Fey series is one of my new fave series. It's the same with Hunger Games though, I'd love to re-read it without the hype

Daughter of Smoke and Bone : This book was excellent. So excellent that every time I read it, I want it to be the first time.

Leviathan : I think Scott Westerfeld's smart narration brings a lot to this trilogy. I'd love to experience it for the first time all over again.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: The same as Hunger Games, I'd like to read these without the hype

Between : I thought this book was excellent. I'd love to reread it without the hype.

The Name of the Star : I sped through this book in a couple of days and since I read the first 70 or so pages weeks before, I wish I could do it all again

Warped : This book, I don't see it a lot around the internets, but I think it's a good book. If I could read it all over again for the first time, I'd take it slower than I did initially.

Witch Song : This was an excellent fantasy novel.

  1. I've only read three of the books on your list, two of which made my list this week (Harry Potter & The Hunger Games). But I'm now really curious about the other books and definitely have to add them to my TBR pile :)

  2. I've got HP and The Hunger Games on my list as well. I've had Tithe and Between on my tbr list for a while. Good to know they're worth re-reading! Here's my list.
