The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
The Raven Boys was a great read. I’d classify it as a story of friendship with a bit of mystery and a lot of paranormal happenings
Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan
There are a few things you must do, in order to enjoy Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan. First, you must prepare yourself to laugh out loud in public. Next, you must be prepared for the sass - and given the author, this is an expectation.
Crossing the Line by Malin Alegria
It was an interesting read and very insightful when it comes to culture. I didn’t find the story itself very surprising, but, I did find the characters and their cultural experiences intriguing.
The Infinity Ring: A Mutiny in Time by James Dashner
A Mutiny in Time is a quick read and I think it will open an appetite for history in young readers.
False Memory by Dan Krokos
I enjoyed this story for the most part. It’s action-packed, there are a lot of really well executed twists and Miranda, Noah, Peter and Olive were all likable characters with interesting pasts.
